Every now and then a tremendous person walks in your life and you wonder why it took them so long to get there. I've never found the answer to that question other than God's timing...but I'm always glad it finally happened. This family is one of "those". Instantly I felt like I had known them for years. Turns out, we are connected by a couple of different circles of people. So cool when that "small world" thing happens, isn't it?

Driving to their house, they have a LOOOOOOOONG driveway that happens to be one lane. When I say long driveway, I mean, I've never visited a home (ever) with a driveway this long. So secluded and perfect.

Here's what we did in the land of the lost.....the grand baby and the sweet engaged couple. Looking forward to the next encounter in neverland. :)

If it weren't raining and freezing, I swear I would have loved to record these ladies antics (featured in the first image) to share with you. They were hysterical to be around. They're twins and they poke at each other like mad. Loved having the pleasure of meeting them and documenting their sweet and fun spirits.

Because it started raining and was freezing, we did the first shot, then came back on a pretty day to complete the rest...that's why you don't see them again. That day was lovely...the sun was shining and so were personalities! These images make me smile....so does this family.

Meet one of the most precious women on the planet...my sweet friend, Tab.
She's amazing and her family is, too. I love the cozy, campy feel of this session because it truly is just what they do. Authenticity. It's a beautiful thing.

As a matter of a fact, it's a really, really good word in this context. These two are so full of personality. I wish you could just be around them for a an hour. They make my cheeks hurt from smiling. They are super fun kids with the sweetest and most thoughtful parents a set of great kids could ask for.

Check out the following links to see how they have grown and changed over the past few years....
