Yep. That's right. The original idea was even EVEN better! Something about furniture on a runway....it'll happen. Wait for it.

Okay, could you just see these boys all decked out in a Crew Cuts catalog (JCrew) or a kids AE ad? So stinkin' cute....sweet and funny to boot! Watch out lil' mama, these boys are gonna have girls ringing your phone off the hook!!!!!!

Awesome shoot....super fun experience for me...hope you guys had as much fun! LOVE working with you all and totally looking forward to the runway shoot!

Okay, yes....I am running low on creative post titles. lol

What is this session missing? Seriously? A family that has so much love for one another (and their animals) it will just bring tears to your eyes...a GORGEOUS farm AND an old home? Can we say DREAM come true!!!! Sweetness ooooozes out of these people. Can't get enough of them (or their property..haha).

They needed no coaching...unreal. They just naturally giggle and enjoy life with each other. So inspiring!

And can you believe the praying mantis just rested on her hands....I mean, can you believe SHE ALLOWED  that thing crawl on her hand? I would have screamed like a little girl. Brave gal she is!

Love the boy and the chickens, too!

I've been photographing this precious family now for 5 years. Actually!! I just learned a few weeks ago that I took his pictures when I worked for another company like 9 years ago. Crazy, huh? She still has the pictures. He's sitting on posing table with a little beach scene. So cute. A little dated photographically speaking, but cute nonetheless. (Is nonetheless supposed to be all together or should it be separated? I say it at is if it's all together, but then seeing it makes it look a bit crowdalicious. Things that make you go.....why?) Anyhoo...Love this precious family.
Happy and sad to see him grow up so big! I wish they could be tiny forever!

It's their first family picture in a long, long time! What an honor it is for me, when people as precious as these call and invite me to be the one to document their family. What a treasure.
We find that families put a hold on having full family pictures made when kids reach a certain age. Why? Life gets busy. Sure, there are pictures of the kids individually from school and sports, etc. But there's something special about a family portrait. There's a story there and it's one we love to tell! When is the last time you had a family portrait done?
