wow.wow.wow. This girl is b e a u t i f u l, fun, sweet, genuine, outgoing and smart....to name just a few of her qualities!
Senior pictures are so much fun for us because the kids are all soooo different. Variety is the spice of my life.
This senior happens to really, really dig Audrey Hepburn. She found an incredible prom dress that is reminiscent of that era, so we played. Amazing things can take place with just a teeny little plan...................and being willing to ditch said plan to do something totally opposite!
Here's a few of my favorite casual shots, then our unplanned adventures in Fall Branch.

Laughing, wrestling, tickling, giggling, playing to the camera, hiding from the camera, these are just a few of the ingredients that made this session so fun....and fun-ny!
I've had the sheer pleasure of photographing these kids for several years now and get excited every time I have an opportunity to do so. If I've said it once, I've said it a million times...it just never gets old...I LOVE watching kids grow up! Such an honor.
Studio sessions are great because they show those sweet little features that we love so much in our children. Like how their little faces are losing baby fat and definition is starting to show. Like how their "big" teeth are coming in and how it's changed the shape of their mouths and their little smiles. We're getting to see a truer depiction of what they are going to look like when their grown. Is that cool to you like it's cool to me?
Don't you love looking back at pictures when you were little and being able to see "the age" when you could easily tell that THAT was the moment in time when you started to look like you were going to look? This may be much too "Tinaesque" to try to put into words, so sorry if I'm doing a poor job describing it. I just see and feel it and wonder if other people think about those same things.

It's so encouraging (and quite frankly a little mystical sometimes) to see a teenager that really has her stuff together. My kids are only 7, but I truthfully think about them turning into teens all the time. I'm not trying to rush anything. Actually, quite the contrary.
I love seeing intelligent, respectful, driven, beautiful girls and guys. It takes an amazing mom and dad to create an environment to facilitate that type of person. I just want to know more! Tell me what the standards were, tell me how this happened. It's beautiful and I want a piece of it!
Okay, getting a little neurotic.
Anyway, besides being intelligent, respectful, driven and beautiful, she also very sophisticated and fun so hopefully, these images will show you a little glimpse into her personality.

Good Lord these girls are toooo grown up!!! I've known them since they were 5 and it's so neat to watch them turn into little ladies! Kills me though, it reminds me how fast childhood flies past!
Meanwhile, we have these two little blondes that are gonna grow up to be the "ones" all the boys have to answer to! (provided all their time isn't taken up fending off the ladies). How many beautiful children is one family allowed to have?!

Here's a fun little concept! This beautiful baby girl has just completed our Growin' Like a Weed program and to celebrate, we decided to take the studio to her birthday party! We sat up the backdrop and lights right in their home office so when their guests came in, they came straight over to get photographed and some....you won't believe this...but some came more than once!
All of the people that you will see in the following images were not only guests at the party, but also very special friends to the family. What a blast! I would do this like at least once a week or so.
The book from this session is toooooo fun!!!!!! Can you imagine how special it will be to look back over this day at her 10 year birthday! Ahhhhhh...I love my job!
