A couple of years ago, I photographed this beautiful spirit-----> (Miss Hannah).
This year, her brother will be graduating. When we were chatting about what we wanted to do for Reed's senior pictures, a sport theme was an obvious choice. He has played football, baseball and basketball since he was little. As we continued to dig a little deeper, they shared with me that they have (almost) every jersey, hat, glove, cleats, tennis shoes and trophies from his entire childhood career. I said, "bring em". :)
Easy for me to say...his poor mom, aunt and sister worked their fingers to the bone to make what became the most colorful and significant backdrop I have ever photographed a high school senior against. I love it. Love the way the whole session turned out.
Onward and upward, Mr. Reed.
......and easy on the eyes. :) Isn't she lovely?
When she arrived for her session, it started raining....if you look really close in the third image down, you can see it.
We aren't sugar...we marched on.
Her mom (who is ridiculously creative and fun) brought this crazy awesome cow hide bench for us to use. So we literally walked a block, jumped in the car, drove a few blocks, unloaded the bench, walked some more, loaded it back up and did lots of stopping and going until we finished up.
I love the variety a session like this has to offer. Plus it's just fun to move around when you like to change scenery.
Every year for Christmas, the Bracken's and I attempt to punch creativity in the face with a huge, over the top, crazy as we can get photoshoot. This year, we scaled back. A new baby changes life and priorities reshift. As simple and easy as this shoot was to get set up, it still ranks as one of my top faves. Memorable? Absolutely...for them. Grateful for gift of this family. They are simply irresistible.
