How stinkin' adorable are these girls!!!

Their outfits aren't too shabby either. LOVE THEM!
It's so funny what clothes can do for a session. I feel like it just brings everything home.

We photographed this session at their lake home.....I totally dig the feel of it. Very summer-ish. ;) Fantastically fabulous family to work with.

Beautiful family, gorgeous kids....totally planned on this session being a dead ringer.

I thought we would play, have fun, run, be silly and enjoy the sunshine. Well, the boys had a different idea....we'll just say it wasn't much of anything I thought it would be. The parents were awesome about it, but I just knew they had to be thinking we totally wasted our time. They seemed semi-encouraged when we left, but no really big expectations.

I always want a really, really, really fun photo shoot experience, but when it doesn't happen, I LOVE when this (below) does!

I love the colors this family chose for their session. I think they work wonderfully together alone, then put them in this beautiful rustic setting and they just make me want to jump around, jump around, jump up, jump up and get and down.

This family is hilarious. We arrived at our location, walked to where we were going to start, I took the first image and the dad says something to effect of, "Ok! That's a wrap!". hahaahaaa.....funny stuff.

This is a girl after my heart. She loves vintage things, sweet things, beautiful things, anthropologie and Jesus. This shoot was about that. It's her senior pictures and my interpretation of where she is in her journey through this fleeting time in life.

I could go on for at least 7 or 8 more paragraphs, but I wouldn't know what words to type that could overshadow what I see in her through these images.... so I'll stop here.

I love being out in the country. As I drive out and start to get rid of billboards, red lights, storefronts and neighborhoods, my shoulders just tend to relax a little. I see more clearly, I feel free, I'm open to just sort of.....be.

This was one of "those" places. We went to their property that makes them feel the same way and did a super fun, super real Senior session. I'm so glad he didn't shoot me or run over me. Good stuff. I'd go back, for sure!
