Remember them ------------> before ?
Here's their sweet little baby girl! Is she precious? Love that lil' bundle UP!! Ooowee!
What is the most precious thing about bringing a brand new baby home? Watching her parents flip out over her. All of the newness. Completely, totally invaluable.

As a photographer, sometimes (hmm...most times) it's very hard to please myself with my own work.
It's moments like this, when the first grand baby comes along.....
he's brand new
a fresh little person
unharmed
innocent
totally dependent
TOTALLY dependent on love.
Being allowed to see those things through my camera and freeze those fleeting little moments are completely, completely fulfilling for me. It's nothing special that "I" did creatively, it has everything to do with being at the right place, at the right time, with the right people. This was one of those days.
Thrilled.

fresh new skin
droopy little necks that can't yet support that sweet little head
eyes that chose to open only half way
the most precious little fingers and toes and nose
a mommy and daddy smitten in love with this brand new being they've just created
a perfectly put together family traveling hundreds of miles for a session in our studio
how could I not love having the honor of photographing this newborn!!!
precious.precious.precious.

What a quaint little town!
So I was about to drive down to photograph Extreme Home Makeover Edition around Clarksville, TN (Which by the way, you can catch on ABC at 8PM EST this Sunday, December 6th). Meanwhile, I had some beautiful clients from Cleveland, TN who was about to drive up to East TN to be photographed for their winter session. While talking we decided it would be the same distance for them to drive down Nashville way instead of Tri Cities and we were both up for something a little different. They've been to Leipers Fork several times, it was my first....what a beautiful, quaint little town. I could totally spend a week there. So much farm land, so quiet, sweet lil' old time markets and "trading" spots in town. And, it's right on the backside of Green Hills, Belle Meade and Brentwood. Can't go wrong there.
In spite of the rain and cold, we got exactly what we were looking for. Check it!

Better make that sweet peaS! I love a family that encourages their children to love one another and empower their creative talents. This little fella LOVES his baby sister and let me tell you about some creativity! wowsa. He's a little rock star. The love in this family radiates and just being around them gives me the warm fuzzies. I could photograph families just like this one all. day. long. Love it.
