I'm continually blessed to get to work with such awesome people. My husband Kevin has known this family for several years and has always spoke very highly of them. Just a few short years ago, this (very thoughtful) husband came to me wanting to surprise his wife by have their children photographed (what a man, heh?). Since then, our relationships have blossomed and Kevin now works for his firm at Crossbridge Advisors.  It's been a great couple of years getting know their family more and more and love being able to freeze such a sweet time in their journey for them. Take a peek!

What a quaint little town!

So I was about to drive down to photograph Extreme Home Makeover Edition around Clarksville, TN (Which by the way, you can catch on ABC at 8PM EST this Sunday, December 6th). Meanwhile, I had some beautiful clients from Cleveland, TN who was about to drive up to East TN to be photographed for their winter session. While talking we decided it would be the same distance for them to drive down Nashville way instead of Tri Cities and we were both up for something a little different. They've been to Leipers Fork several times, it was my first....what a beautiful, quaint little town. I could totally spend a week there. So much farm land, so quiet, sweet lil' old time markets and "trading" spots in town. And, it's right on the backside of Green Hills, Belle Meade and Brentwood. Can't go wrong there.

In spite of the rain and cold, we got exactly what we were looking for. Check it!

So, every year Amanda and I try to push the envelope farther and farther. This year, we dreamed as big as we absolutely dared while a) not compromising where the family was in their journey in life and b) not trying to work out ANY logistics during the brainstorming process. I think that's a huge key in creating a dreamy/ out of the box session....let go of logistics and let your mind explore ALL the possibilities. Anything can happen. Right, Amanda? lol...

Love this family in so many ways. What a huge impact they've made on my family. Love, love, love doing life with them.

Wow. The images of the bed floating on the water are to die for. This must have taken so much preparation and work to set up, but I know it's so worth it to see the final images. Dreamy and mysterious... love it!

Hi Tina, I saw this album at the Vision Art Books booth at WPPI today. This is an amazing session and such a gorgeous album!!! Congratulations! After being blown away by the creativity and style and beauty of the album, of course I had to find out who the artist was so I could blog stalk them! :) Consider me a new reader of your blog.

Honestly? One of the funniest kids I get to photograph. Always makes me laugh to be around this kid. I've photographed him since he was born. They've just welcomed a daddy into the family and I am sooooooo happy for them!

You know how sometimes you meet a couple and they just really, really, really *fit*? Yup. That's this couple. They just do. They work great together and I love that they look like they've been together for years! Congrats and blessings to you!!!!!

PS, the last one will always be my favorite! ;) See you next year.

Gosh I really love dimples.....and this dog. The little boy is *such* a joy to be around and actually, so is the dog! I'm grateful to have the opportunity to have started photographing them at pregnancy and now look! He's growin' like a weed! (<--------shameless plug for our baby program). Love this family and love continually getting to know them more and more. I am so looking forward to photographing the next 8 beautiful children they have!!!!! What? They are gorgeous, aren't they? What a shame if they didn't produce more offspring, don't you agree?
