So we plan to do this crazy awesome session in a building downtown, right? Then it snows or rains or something...dark clouds, freezing cold weather...nothing was jiving for us. So! We decide to do a studio session. A few hours before the we were to meet, she calls me and says,
"Tina, meet us at City Hall. We want a picture by the statue."
I said, "HAHAHHAAAAAA, that's hilarious."
long pause...................................."you're pulling my leg, aren't you?"
she says, "No. This statue (lady) is very important to my husband and is quite the symbol of old downtown Johnson City, Se's been restored and she can't move, so we want to go and have a picture with her...is that okay?"
me, "um..... yeah..... sure....... I'll........ see you there." ((( am I being punk'd? )))
Strangest request all year....but by FAR one of the funniest families I've ever met. They made me laugh so hard during our session, my cheeks hurt for an hour after they left. They have a beautiful sense of humor and even more lovely is the relationships they have with each other. I count myself blessed to have encountered this amazing family. Thanks for the giggles. See you in the Spring. :)
