The precious, precious moments of adding a newborn are such a keepsake! As I look through these images, I could completely just almost, kind of, okay not really at all have another baby...but it DOES send me through that process! Those sweet little toes, the interaction with the rest of the family? oooohweeee! melt. 

Some things that you may (or may not) be interested to know here...the basket that you see the baby in was made by hand by the baby's g'ma! How cool is that! I want to make a basket this cool! 

The paper that you see with "blue" words are from one of the girls feelings of responsibility to name her ball team. She was going through the creative process to pick just the perfect name. I was so inspired by that! I love young people who get inspired and think creatively...then really? I love old people that do that, too. ;) 

I love so many of these images because it's exactly what the feeling was like being in their home. That doesn't say much to some, but for me....it's exactly what makes my heart sing. I'm photographing this story for the children featured in these images in hopes that someday, they can flip through their book and look back through pictures on their walls and say, look how much we loved each other, even then! Special moments like bringing a baby home from the hospital shouldn't be taken lightly! We only have a small window of opportunity to document those tiny little people. ;)
