I used to love picking flowers in the summertime when I was a kid. I would stroll around my neighborhood collecting the most beautiful bouquets and proudly take them home to my mom. She would ask me where I found such pretty flowers, I would simply respond...I just "found" them, aren't they beautiful!! I had an opportunity to do that maybe 2 or 3 times before the neighbors came to visit my parents for a little talk. 

I thought about that story as I watched these little girls (with total permission and even some help) pick these flowers. They were soooo happy putting all the colors together and enjoying the smells. 

One thing I love most about kids is that it doesn't take much to fill their little cups. The simplest things can make their whole day. I wish we were that easy to please as adults, don't you?

The pictures from this session make my heart sing. I've looked at them a million times and I smile out loud every time I peruse through again. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
