Meet one of the most precious women on the planet...my sweet friend, Tab.
She's amazing and her family is, too. I love the cozy, campy feel of this session because it truly is just what they do. Authenticity. It's a beautiful thing.

As a matter of a fact, it's a really, really good word in this context. These two are so full of personality. I wish you could just be around them for a an hour. They make my cheeks hurt from smiling. They are super fun kids with the sweetest and most thoughtful parents a set of great kids could ask for.

Check out the following links to see how they have grown and changed over the past few years....

We're back from Christmas break and ready to start a brand new year. A new year means a blank slate and unending possibilities. It's like a fresh new spiral bound old school notebook. Creatively, this is one of my very, very, very favorite things. I adore new notebooks and good writing pens. ***sigh***

This year we will celebrate our 10th year in business. We are so grateful to all of the families, mommas, daddys, grannies and grandpas who have trusted us to document fleeting moments in their lives. It's overwhelming really.

We are excited to explore the possibilities of growth, metamorphosis and continued excellence over the next 10 years with you.

For now, back in the saddle...lots of 2012 sessions to still post. Blogging has become one of "those" things for me. I refuse to be stressed by getting behind. I've just accepted the fact that if I'm ever fully caught up, I might just be in trouble. :)

Here's a session that has some sweet, sweet pet loving. Enjoy and Happy New Year!

big kids , other stuff | December 14, 2012
I love photographing young couples in love. The engagement period is a bliss filled time where couples are just...well...all over each other. ha! Mushy, smushy lovin'. It's fun to watch and makes for amazing images.

My hope is simply this...after they are married for 4 years, 8 years, 10 years......and life becomes normal and mundane....when they look back on this session, I hope it will cause them to remember why they fell in love with one another in the beginning.

That's a nice thought to close with for now.
